Individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the life of the borough will be rewarded at a ceremony tonight.
50 people nominated for their efforts will be issued certificates at the Barnet Council Civic Awards, while the seven deemed to have made the greatest difference will be issued with framed vellums.
The Mayor of Barnet, Councillor John Marshall, will hand out the awards in the council chamber at Barnet House.
He said: "Barnet is blessed with many volunteers who are often the cornerstone of a community.
"We owe a real debt to all the nominees and I would like to thank them all and hope they will continue to enrich the life of our borough."
