A 43-year-old solicitor who has also trained as an actor is to fight Hendon for the UK Independence Party.
Craig Crosbie is a classics graduate who trained as an actor at RADA and lives in Westminster. He later qualified as a solicitor and now combines acting with a legal career.
As an actor he has played seasons at the Royal National Theatre. His most recent television appearance was this March in NCS Manhunt with David Suchet, for the BBC.
As a solicitor he works in the City specialising in serious crime. He also works as a duty solicitor, on call both at police stations and courts.
"The Independence Party stands for democracy," Mr Crosbie said.
"It stands for our power to order our affairs. Over the last 30 years Brussels has bossed us more and more. We will end that."
