ELEVEN Barnet Council officers earned more than £100,000 in the last financial year, it has been revealed today.
Brian Reynolds, the director for environment and development pocketed £172,500, the most of any officer, an increase of 6.2 per cent on the year before.
Chief Executive Nick Walkley earned a 6.6 per cent salary increase after being promoted to the position from the director of resources the year before, earning £162,500.
Jill Stansfield, the executive director for communities got both the same pay rise and pay packet as Mr Walkley.
The figures have been released by the Taxpayer's Alliance, which monitors spending by central and local government.
Former Barnet chief executive Leo Boland appears as the 15th best town hall boss in the country in his new role at the Greater London Authority, earning £205,615, more than Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
However, the council refused to release the names of the other eight staff, but released details of their positions and salary increases.
The director for resources received £142,500, the planning boss got £137,500, while the director of corporate governance and the acting children's services director took home £132,500 each.
