THE organisers of a club night in a Colindale warehouse which ended with 600 partygoers running for cover under a hail of bullets have said it was an “isolated incident”.

Three people, including a DJ, were shot when a man produced a gun and started firing shots at the Grime Daily 1st anniversary party at around 4am on Sunday, in a warehouse in Capitol Way.

All three were rushed to hospital and are now in a stable condition.

A statement on the Grime Daily website says: “For those who attended; although we are grateful that you chose to celebrate our anniversary with us, we also regret that you were exposed that environment and subsequent disaster on the night.

“Our thoughts, prayers and concerns lie with the two individuals injured, and we hope that both are able to pull through and make a full and speedy recovery.

“We can assure you all that this is an isolated incident, and the Grime Daily team will take every step necessary to ensure the safety of all attendees at any events we are associated with in the future.”

The website is run by a former reality TV star and IT girl Donatella Panayiotou who organised the invite-only event.

Three men were arrested just after the incident following a car crash at the junction of Hay Lane and Edgware Road. They have been bailed pending further inquiries.

A new incident room has been opened by Scotland Yard's Trident team on 020 8733 4774, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
