A FORMER Edgware medical centre boss will appear at crown court next month charged with abusing her position to pay herself an extra £450,000.
Brenda Duncan appeared at Hendon Magistrates Court on Friday charged with six counts of fraud, using her role as manager of Oak Lodge Medical Centre to top up her salary over eight years.
The 48-year-old, of Peterborough Road, Harrow, is due to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on Wednesday, September 6, to enter a plea.
She is accused of two counts of making false representations to payroll which resulted in her gaining payments of £236,419 and £109,909, twice abusing her position as practice manager to gain £109,909 and £35,453, and two further charges of stealing £60,000.
The former manager of the medical centre, in Burnt Oak Broadway, has been released on bail until the next hearing.
