THE search for an Indian soap star is coming to Brent Cross Shopping Centre today.
TV bosses will be at the centre hoping to uncover new talent to feature in an episode of one of India's highest rated shows.
The winner of O2's Indian Soap Star competition will be offered a walk on, speaking part in Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta, which is watched by about 500 million people worldwide.
Auditions will be held at the centre for four days, between 11am and 7pm, today, tomorrow and Saturday, and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
The roadshow is going to six locations across the UK, and entrants will receive acting tips before entering the dedicated screen test room, manned by a professional production crew.
Six regional winners will perform in front of a judging panel with the overall winner receiving the exclusive Bollywood experience, including flights to Mumbai, accommodation and spending money.
Ravi Lal, Head of Voice & Messaging Services at O2 said: “Indian Soap Star is a unique and innovative way of engaging with this community and bringing them a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
