A LOCAL Member of the European Parliament urges women to take care on the streets following recent assaults in Finchley.
MEP Marina Yannakoudakis works from offices on Ballards Lane, just a stone's throw from the scene of three of the four sexual assaults that have occurred since October 19.
"I’m very concerned about the recent spate of attacks on women in Finchley, some of which occurred in broad daylight," she said.
The Conservative Spokesman on Women's Rights encouraged women to heed recent advice and warnings from police.
"I hope that the police will catch the perpetrator soon, but in the meantime I advise all women to be cautious in the areas near Finchley Central and West Finchley Underground stations."
