I am very angry once again with Barnet Council which in July, gave planning permission for Etz Chaim free school to open in the former Wyevale Garden Centre, Daws Lane, Mill Hill.
The main problem is the traffic in Daws Lane and Poets Corner, which I complained about the council.
It then sent someone to do a traffic survey at 8.45am, despite the fact the main problem is between 8.15am and 8.45am.
Thus, the person missed all the traffic that goes up Daws Lane and onto Hammers Lane. What a coincidence there were no cars parked on the corner of Marion Road and Daws Lane.
I have lived in Mill Hill all my life and in Marion Road for more than 25 years and we have never had so much traffic. I can’t even pull out of my road in the mornings, as you can’t see what is coming up or down Daws Lane.
I take my life in my hands every morning when I pull out of my road and I believe it is an accident waiting to happen.
The council wants this school to go ahead and doesn’t care about any one else. I am so upset.
