A man is critically ill following a collision on the M1 on Friday.
The 51-year-old from Watford lost control of his silver Toyota Rav4 and hit the central reservation on the northbound carriageway at junction six at approximately 10pm.
The man, who was the only person in the car, is in hospital in Hammersmith.
Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who saw the vehicle prior to the collision.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Derris.
