Two teenagers from Barnet have beaten 400 others to be crowned winners of a national poetry competition.
SLAMbassadors is a Poetry Society competition for 12 to 18 year olds from across the country.
After a year of scouting the judges chose eight winners, including Gabriel Akamo, 17, from Barnet, and Harry Wilson, 18, from Edgware.
The winners will perform their poems, or raps, at the 100 Club in Oxford Street on April 1.
