Barnet’s people are being invited to a talk on the growing health gap between the rich and poor in the UK.
The free talk, which will be held at Middlesex University’s Hendon Campus, at 6pm on Monday, will be given by Professor Michael Marmot.
Professor Marmot, who is the UK’s leading health inequalities expert, will address the health inequalities that exist between communities with different levels of deprivation.
Professor Marmot, who is Director of the Institute of Health Equity, believes that the gap is getting wider in the UK.
