M1 fire jury retire to consider their verdict
The jury in the M1 fire trial at Wood Green Crown Court has retired to consider its verdict.
The jury is considering the fate of a gang of teenagers from Edgware who are accused to starting a fire which closed the M1 for nearly a week and caused £4.5million worth of damage.
Johno Johnson, 18, Josh Lambe, 18, Luke Matthews, 18, a 17-year-old and two 15-year-olds, who cannot be named for legal reasons, all deny conspiracy to commit arson at a scrap yard on Ellesmere Avenue footpath underneath the M1 flyover on April 15 2011.
