The Mayor of Barnet joined a garden party to celebrate a children centre’s fourth birthday last Friday.
Cllr Brian Schama, toddlers, parents and councillors attended the event at Bell Lane Children’s Centre in Bell Lane, Hendon.
Despite the downpour, a whole host of activities were provided including a music, drama and dance session called Debutots. There was also a singing session and a raffle.
Headteacher Elaine Wilson said: “It was great to have everyone from the diverse community we have in Hendon all under one roof.
“We had 100 people throughout the day having a lot of fun.”
