Anybody who takes a cursory glance at the League 2 table, will see that Barnet FC are in a familiar position.

The side haven't had the best of starts. Three losses, a home draw and a League Cup exit have served only to dampen the pre-season optimism many of us had.

The significance of this season cannot be overstated. It is our last season at Underhill, before the club temporarily relocates to The Hive in Canons Park in an attempt to secure a long term future somewhere in the Borough of Barnet.

A good season might soften the blow for those Barnet fans who are reticient about leaving Underhill.

A bad season might see Barnet fans voting with their feet when the club heads to its new temporary home at the club's training complex.

Of course for some Barnet fans the results this season have no bearing on next season as they look forward to a new chapter in the club's history.

Whatever happens, this blog will offer some perspective from a director of the Barnet FC Supporters' Trust  (BFCST).

This season is also important for BFCST, as we embark on our first season as a Supporters' Trust. We have a duty to represent the views of our members and the wider Barnet fanbase at an extremely important juncture in Barnet FC's history.

This blog will document that process as well as goings on, on the pitch.

So please come back, have a read and pass this blog on to any Barnet fan who might be interested.

COME ON YOU BEES!
