A HIGH Court hearing is due to start this morning into what shape an inquest into the 7/7 bombings should take.
Phil Beer, 22, a trainee hairdresser from Masefield Avenue, Borehamwood, was among the 52 killed when three bombers set off devices on packed tube carriages and one on a bus during morning rush hour on July 7, 2005.
Last month it was announced there would be an inquest into the deaths, and the hearing this week with coroner, Lady Justice Hallett, is to establish the scope of the proceedings, as well as whether there will be a jury.
Relatives are also calling for security chiefs to be properly quizzed on what they knew about the threat, after it was revealed two of the four bombers had been under MI5 surveillance a year before the attack.
It is expected to last for three days.
