Table tennis players from the London Academy took top honours at the Jack Petchey Foundation London Schools competition in Edgware.
The competition bought together 100 players from 14 different schools from Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest.
There was success for the London Academy pupils in the boys’ Under-19s, Under-16s and Under-13s events while the Under-16 girls were also victorious.
The Under-19 boys’ team was Musa Sharif Ali, Charlie Austen, Charlie McNally and Shayan Naserbakht and the Under-16s boys’ side consisted of Eren Goscu, Karim Khassal, Omar Khassal and Connor White.
Reese Bolley, Kian Naghashzadeh, Valentin Sepsi and Amir Sharifi made up the Under-13 boys while the Under-16 girls were Madison Bennett, Rhoda Boadu, Hiba Feredj, Nicole Jancy and Scarlett Ryan.
Bhavin Savjanai, table tennis coach for the school, said: “I am delighted with my players and they have certainly done the school proud.”
