Carl Fletcher has left Barnet after making just five appearances for the club but Bees director of football Paul Fairclough says the midfielder has left a "big impression on a lot of people".
The 33-year-old signed with Barnet in October but found first team chances limited.
He played only four games in the league and his final match for the club ended with the former Wales international being given a red card against Salisbury City.
Speaking to the the club's website, Fairclough said: "During his time here he has been the model professional. Despite the short length of his spell he has left a big impression on a lot of people in the club.
"I like everybody else associated with Barnet FC would like to wish him the very best for the future and wherever his career takes him I have no doubt he will enjoy success."
