Saracens winger Chris Ashton has been named the Premiership player of the month April.
The 27-year-old has been in imperious form for Mark McCall's side in April, helping Sarries maintain their place at the top of the Aviva Premiership and reach their maiden Heineken Cup final.
Wigan-born Ashton also scored two tries in the recent 44-20 defeat of Worcester, whilst also becoming the highest-scoring player in a single season of the Heineken Cup by scoring his 11th try of the season against Clermont.
Ashton becomes the second Saracens player to win a player of the month award after Jacques Burger took the award for September.
