Current Wingate & Finchley first-team coach Danny Nielsen will remain with the Blues for the 2015/16 and assist new director of football Simon Lane.
Nielsen had worked with outgoing director of football Dave Norman last season but Norman elected to leave Wingate at the end of the campaign after helping steer the club to their record step three points total.
Speaking to the club website, Lane said: "I'm delighted that Danny has agreed to stay.
"I did my research as usual, and during discussions it quickly became apparent that we have similar philosophies and I think we will provide the right coaching culture and learning environment for our players to progress."
Nielsen, a former player with the Isthmiam Premier Division side, was rewarded with a testimonial at the club's awards evening to mark his 13 years of service.
He made more than 430 appearances for the club before becoming first-team coach in 2013.
