London Broncos picked up their first victory in three on Sunday by winning 32-12 at Hunslet Hawks to keep in touch with the promotion places.

The Championship's top three all take up automatic places in the Super League whilst fourth and fifth face off in the 'Million Pound Game'.

At present, the Broncos are seventh - outside of the top five on points difference - and head coach Andrew Henderson knows it is imperative to stay in touch.

He said: "It was really important that we got the two points last weekend against Hunslet. As a side it’s really important that we keep in touch with the top four.

"It’s always going to be a challenge away from home but I was really pleased with the attitude and character that was on show from the team, which was something I challenged them on during the week.

"At times when we executed the plan we played some good football but too often we come up with some silly errors and ill-discipline that kept Hunslet in the game and I felt we could have made it an easier afternoon for ourselves had we been a bit more respectful of possession."
