Australian hooker Dave Porecki says joining Premiership champions Saracens is an amazing opportunity for him to improve his game.
The 22-year-old has been signed as cover on a short-term deal by the Men in Black whilst the Rugby World Cup takes place.
Hookers Jamie George and Schalk Brits will be away with England and South Africa and so the former Manly Marlins Rugby man has joined up with last season's Premiership winners.
He told the club website: “From day one I’ve felt pretty settled, we’ve all been working hard as a group and it’s been an awesome experience so far.
"I’m working as hard as I can every day to get as much as I can out of this experience. I’m a young hooker, so to come into one of the best teams in Europe is an amazing opportunity for me to improve on aspects of my game.”
Porecki continued: “All the boys have been very welcoming since I’ve arrived and the coaching staff have been great with me. It’s a great opportunity and one I’m looking forward to making the most of.
“Saracens had the opportunity to bring a young hooker into the club with a few guys away on international duty and one or two rehabbing from injury, so I was more than happy to come over to join a great team."
