Nico Muir has signed for Hartlepool from Hendon for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has been a target for Matthew Bates for a prolonged period and joins the club after proving a reliable source of goals for Hendon.
He scored 40 times in all competitions last season and was targeted by a number of clubs after his prolific spell at Hendon.
QPR were said to be keen on signing the powerful centre-forward, who becomes Pools second signing of the season.
