Darren Currie’s Barnet have been handed a London derby in the fourth round of the FA Cup as a reward for their shock win against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
The Bees will once again be up against a Championship side, this time hosting Thomas Frank’s Brentford.
The west London Bees reached this stage courtesy of Neal Maupay’s penalty in round three against Oxford United, while Barnet defeated Braintree Town in their qualifying round before winning a replay against Bristol Rovers in round one and edging past Stockport County in the next stage of the competition.
This will be Brentford’s first competitive visit to Barnet since 2013, but they did play a pre-season game there in 2014, winning 5-1.
The match will be played over the weekend of January 25 to 28.
