The Barnet Sunday League is bucking the trend of a decline in Sunday league football after receiving more applications to join than ever before the 2019/20 season.
The league has seen something of a renaissaince in recent seasons and that has continued.
Following the BSFL annual general meeting earlier this month, a further 11 new teams were elected to the league and this growth to five divisions will see Division Four return after a seven-year absence, with it last being contested in the 2012/13 season.
With a new website on the way, combined with a digital overhaul of the club's administration processes, the league's management committee are very positive about the long term future of grass roots football in Barnet.
