Former Watford striker Alex Jakubiak has joined Dundee after leaving the club earlier this year.

At the end of June the club revealed the player would be released after his contract expired and he has now signed a deal with the Scottish Championship side.

During his time with the Hornets he made just one senior appearance before being released on loan to a number of clubs including Braintree Town, Oxford United, Dagenham & Redbridge, Fleetwood Town, Wycombe Wanderers, Falkirk, Bristol Rovers, Gillingham and most recently St Mirren.

Watford Observer:

Speaking to the Dundee website after completing the move, Jakubiak said he was looking forward to settling down after spending so much time out on loan.

“It was actually last night (Tuesday), I got a call saying there was interest," he said. "To be honest I didn’t have to think about it too much. I spoke to Andy Nelson who was here before and he gave good reviews of the club and the people at the club.”

“I think it’s somewhere I can come and enjoy myself. After being on loan so many times this is my first permanent club after Watford and a good opportunity for me to stamp my mark down.”
