Young defender Loic Hernandez has signed a new contract with Barnet FC.
Hernandez, a graduate of the Barnet FC Academy graduate will now stay at the club for at least the 2020/21 campaign.
The 20-year-old signed his first professional deal with the club in the summer of 2018, before gaining first-team experience on loan to Wingate&Finchley during the 2018/19 season.
Hernandez made his senior debut in September 2019, keeping a clean sheet in the team's 1-0 win over Maidenhead United at The Hive.
He has since made two further appearances in a Bees shirt and hopes the 2020/21 campaign will be a breakthrough season.
Hernandez said: "I am pleased, it's another year to play football and develop, so that is the main focus. I am glad to have it done and now I can focus on playing football, which is the most important thing.
"It was a tough year for me personally last year, but that's football sometimes. I have got a bit of first-team experience and now it is about kicking on and moving forward.
"I just look to enjoy every day that I am training and apply myself in every session really. I just want to enjoy every single day and playing football again, I'm looking forward to the games getting underway."
A statement on the club's website congratulated Loic on his new deal, saying: "We look forward to seeing him develop further in the coming season."
The deal is subject to ratification from the regulatory authorities.
