Enfield Borough endured a mixed week as their demanding schedule produced one win and one defeat in two entertaining fixtures.

They began on a positive note with a hard‑fought 2-1 victory over Stansted.

Borough started brightly and were rewarded early when Anas Aouimer struck to give the hosts the lead. Stansted later levelled, but Borough showed resilience and pushed for a winner.

Their persistence paid off late on when Steven Kabungwe fired home to secure all three points.

Confidence was high heading into the weekend clash with Burnham Ramblers, and Borough again made a strong start.

Dylan Colletti continued his impressive scoring run, putting Borough ahead inside the opening ten minutes.

However, the match soon turned during a chaotic first half. Burnham Ramblers responded clinically, scoring three times to seize control.

Just as it looked as though Borough would reach the interval with a daunting task ahead, Colletti produced a moment of real quality, lifting a superb lob over the goalkeeper that clipped the bar on its way in to reduce the deficit to 3-2 at half‑time.

The second half was finely poised, with Borough pushing hard for an equaliser while Burnham remained dangerous on the counter.

As Borough committed players forward, gaps at the back began to appear.

Two desperate defensive challenges resulted in penalties, both converted by the visitors to restore their cushion.

Despite Borough’s continued efforts, the damage was done and Burnham Ramblers held on for a 5-3 win in an open, end‑to‑end contest.
