Hendon FC's James Burgess made his 300th appearance for the Greens against AFC Hornchurch on the final day of the season on Saturday.
He became the first Hendon player since Simon Clarke (1995-2002) to reach the landmark.
The long-serving defender or midfielder made his Hendon debut in 2002.
To honour his 300th appearance, Burgess was named captain for the match against AFC Hornchurch, which the Greens won 3-2.
Burgess' team-mates and the Hendon coaching staff formed a guard of honour as he ran on to the pitch.
Manager Gary McCann said: “I can’t say enough about James Burgess. His loyalty and dedication to the club is magnificent and you can't talk about Hendon players without thinking of James.”
The three points against AFC Hornchurch ensured Hendon finished tenth in the Ryman League Premier Division.
