After being crowned champions of the Regents Park U13A division, an unbeaten Hampstead Stag's carried on where they left off with an impressive 5-2 victory over a strong Vcc Islington Red side.
After being 2-1 down approaching half-time and missing a penalty kick, Hampstead's second-half performance was highly impressive.
The second period started in incredible fashion.
Archie Jones scored a remarkable goal, jinking his way past six defenders before rounding the keeper and placing the ball into an empty net. All that witnessed it were left shocked, with Hampstead manager Andy Histed claiming it was "one of the best goals I have ever seen".
Hampstead went onto to win the game, with star striker Francis Amartey netting a brace, Jones grabbing another and James McWilliams capping an excellent second-half performance with a lovely flighted free-kick.
