A quick look at Barnet’s next five League Two fixtures indicates how important a victory tomorrow at Macclesfield Town could be for Lawrie Sanchez’s side.

The Bees take on the Silkmen in what will inevitably be dubbed a six pointer as the two sides fight to stay in the Football League.

Following that fixture Barnet have a run of four games against teams that currently occupy the automatic promotion or play-off positions.

The Bees will host Torquay United before welcoming league leaders Swindon Town to Underhill. A trip to Cheltenham follows and then the Bees host Crawley Town.

Barnet boss Lawrie Sanchez admits the trip to Moss Road is a game his side can’t afford to lose.

He said: "First thing it we must not lose it, that’s the most important thing. When facing teams below us that we can keep below us then we must not lose against them.

"We have a game in hand on a few of the sides but that game is against Swindon so it’s certainly not an easy one."

He continued: "There were no injuries reported after the (Dagenham) game. It’s a quick turnaround again but they played us on the Friday and we have reciprocated.

"They were beaten against Rotherham and conceded four goals, so it will be what it will be and I have no problems going there and neither will the team."

There was a surprise change in the Barnet midfield against Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday as Sam Deering was replaced in the side by Clovis Kamdjo.

Sanchez confirmed after the game that the decision to drop Deering to the bench was a tactical decision rather than due to injury.

He said: "Sammy has played well this season but we needed certain players for the game. Clovis did a good job when he came in. He has been on the bench recently and he has also played well this season but we needed certain players to match Dagenham.

"Sammy will be champing at the bit to get back into the team and that’s good for the side. (Andy) Yiadom will be the same and we have got a bench where we can change things a little which is nice.

The other meeting between the Bees and Macclesfield this season ended with Barnet coming away from Underhill with a 2-1 victory.

Izale McLeod netted twice in the fixture but Sanchez said he believed Macclesfield were unlucky that night.

"I think they were unfortunate here at Underhill. We scored two penalties and they also had someone sent off.

"So they were a little but undone by that, however, I don’t have any worries going up there."

The Silkmen are yet to win a game in 2012 and have only recorded one league victory since October 25th 2011.

Their wretched form saw manager Gary Simpson sacked and replaced by Brian Horton.

The appointment of a new boss did not help Macclesfield in midweek though as they were defeated 4-2 by Rotherham United.

Barnet have tended to put in better performances on the road this season despite collecting two more points at home during the campaign.

The Bees boss admits he doesn’t know why his side have been unable to reproduce their best football at Underhill but believes his side have less fear when they are playing away from home.
