A residential care service supporting people with learning disabilities is celebrating after receiving a "glowing" report from the Care Quality Commission.
The commission, the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England, found Essex Park in Finchley met all its standards for safety and quality.
In the report, the CQC inspector said: “All the care records we viewed contained a detailed support plan outlining the support the person needed with various aspects of daily life such as health, mobility, personal care and hygiene, communication, eating and drinking, mental health and well-being, and community participation.
“These were person-centred, very detailed and specific to the person and their needs.”
The care service is run by national disability charity Walsingham.
Gary Morgan, operations and development manager for central and southern England at Walsingham, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the positive feedback received from the Care Quality Commission.
“As an organisation, Walsingham is committed to providing personalised support for adults with disabilities and this report demonstrates our dedication to that.”
