With just four months until the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers’ Zane Duquemin impressed with a season’s best throw in the shot put and discus.
The 22-year-old was competing in Sweden and threw a new best of 18.86m in the shot put.
He followed that up with a throw of 59.93m in the discus and he is ranked first in the UK in both disciplines.
Elsewhere, Amy Campbell sealed a 14th-place finish in the Home Counties Cross Country International for senior athletes on Saturday.
Campbell’s run helped her Scotland side finish a creditable fourth place.
