Barbara Jacobson

I have been a member of the Barnet Alliance for Public Services (BAPS) for more than two years, and during that time have followed the work of Barnet Council and its members. Therefore this blog will be about the council, councillors and local democracy. It will examine council policies and proposals, and how they might affect people living and working in Barnet. Sometimes it will talk about council committee meetings or local area forums or campaigns by local groups – BAPS and others – and even national issues that are particularly relevant to people in this borough. It will look at issues that affect all of us and those that affect specific groups. It will aim to shed light on the shadows and question assumptions, and even provide some answers.
