They may not be eligible to vote for another decade or so – but children have come up with a quirky way to have their say.
Pupils at St Mary and St John’s Church of England School, in Downage, Hendon, held their own mini-elections.
The school is in one of London’s key marginal seats which could see Conservative Matthew Offord or Labour’s Andrew Dismore win the public vote.
All students and staff were given a ballot paper, private booths and are casting their votes today.
Results will be announced tomorrow.
