Local boy Andy Gray is young and talented guitarist who over the years has performed in many various bands all over Europe to much critical acclaim.
As a session musician he is in constant demand, playing both electric and classical guitar. When he was asked to join Letz Zep, he was elated at the prospect of touring all over the world, performing some of the greatest rock songs ever written.
It is an ideal job for Andy, as Jimmy Page is one of his all time favourite guitar players.
"Jimmy is one of the most captivating soloists in rock, the expression and feel he puts into his playing is second to none," says Andy.
When not on tour, Andy spends most if his time running his tanning salon in Borehamwood, a business he runs with his sister.
Letz Zep are critically acclaimed as the leading Led Zeppelin tribute band. Their world tour started 18 months ago and has seen Andy and the band perform in sixteen countries on four continents, confirming Letz Zep as a truly global act.
Letz Zep will be bringing their Fifty Shades of Zeppelin tour back to the UK for the remainder of the year, with a stop-over in Borehamwood on November 3.
- Fifty Shades of Zeppelin is at The Ark Theatre, Hertswood Upper Site, Thrift Farm Lane, Borehamwood on Saturday, November 3 at 7.30pm. Details: 020 8238 7288, www.thearktheatre.co.uk, www.letzzep.com
