Finchley dance and accappella group Infinitones will join more than 400 young people to celebrate a mammoth investment in London and Essex’s young people.
The St Michaels Catholic Grammar School students are set to perform as part of Ignite: A Festival of Youth, which this year marks a £100m investment in work with people aged 11 to 25 by The Jack Petchey Foundation.
In Barnet alone, the foundation, set up in 1999 by Jack Petchey CBE, has directly awarded more than £1,022,000 to schools and youth organisations to help celebrate, inspire and train young people.
The Finchley students secured their spot at the show when they won the 2014 Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge at the Southbank Centre last December.
Held at the Theatre Royal, the festival promises a variety of entertainment and the chance to showcase youth talent.
Theatre Royal, Catherine Street, Covent Garden, Sunday, March 15, 7pm. Details: 0871 220 0260, jackpetcheyfoundation.org.uk
