Following the success of last night’s premiere, five more screenings of a film about Barnet Borough Council’s outsourcing programme have been announced.
Barnet – The Billion Pound Gamble, directed by Charles Honderick and produced by Roger Tichbourne, premiered at the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley yesterday.
Mr Tichbourne has now announced the dates and venues for the next five screenings.
The film, which is a scathing documentary about the council’s One Barnet Programme, will be showed at 7.30pm tonight at Wesley Hall in Stapylton Road, High Barnet.
It will be screened at 7pm on Thursday at The Larches, Edgware, and at 2.30pm on Saturday in New Barnet Community Centre in Victoria Road.
It will also be shown at 6.30pm on November 1 at Café Buzz, in North Finchley’s High Road.
Finally, the film will be played at 8pm on November 6 in North Road Community Centre, Edgware.
Barnet – The Billion Pound Gamble is a follow on to a Tale of Two Barnets which was released in the spring.
