Barnet Police are appealing for a good Samaritan who rescued a 15-year-old from robbers to contact them.
At 12pm on October 3 the teenager was robbed of his phone and wallet in The Grove, Edgware, by two men.
A passing motorist stopped when he saw what was happening and he told the robbers to return the victim’s possessions.
Once they had done so, the van driver told the victim to run away.
Police are keen to speak to this have-a-go hero as part of their investigations into the crime.
DC Alex Dunmore said: "This man came to the aid of a victim of crime and showed commendable bravery.
“He is also an important witness to this crime and I would appeal to him to show further public spirit and contact Barnet police."
