Festive shoppers can get some early gifts and raise some money for a good cause at a 12-hour market in Hendon on Thursday.

Forty stalls will be set up at Grief Encounter’s Shopping Extravaganza at the Hendon Hall Hotel, in Ashley Lane.

Each stallholder donates 10 per cent of earnings to the Whetstone-based charity, which is dedicated to supporting bereaved children following the death of a parent or sibling.

In previous years, more than 1,000 shoppers have turned out and stalls include clothes, jewellery, homeware and toys.

Tickets cost £7 on the door and the market will run from 9am to 9pm on November 15.
