A trader from North Finchley charged with vandalising parking signs outside his shop will face trial in January.
Paul Shea, owner of Tally Ho Discounts, in High Road, is charged with causing £1,000 worth of criminal damage by spray painting the pay-by-phone signs.
The 44-year-old, of High Road, appeared at Hendon Magistrates Court and a trial was arranged for January 24 at Brent Magistrates' Court.
The parking signs were sprayed on at least two occasions this year, meaning traffic wardens were unable to issue tickets to drivers who did not pay.
