An organisation which aims to generate job opportunities for young people is hosting an employment fair in Barnet today.

Young people who are searching for jobs, looking for ways to improve their CV through volunteering or seeking tips on setting up their own businesses are invited to come down to Chipping Barnet Library tomorrow from 12pm.

During the day, a team of national and Barnet-based organisations including Oxfam, the Bright Ideas Trust which works to inspire young entrepreneurs, Repowering London, which runs renewable energy projects and Rejuce, which makes juice from unwanted vegetables, will be on hand to talk about their work and offer opportunities.

Organised by the youth awareness team of non-profit organisation Interact, the fair will also feature professionals including career strategist Mathy Lisika-Minsende from Whathejobisthis and entrepreneur Edwina Momoh.
