The High Court will judge the legality of controversial 'controlled parking zones' today.
Mrs Justice Lang is expected to rule on the judicial review of Barnet Borough Council's scheme at 10am.
The court case is a culmination of a two-year battle carried out by East Finchley resident David Attfield, who took the council to court on July 2.
He argues the council has acted unlawfully by raising parking charges to pay for other transport projects.
