Roads have been closed and businesses evacuated due to a tree fire.
Police closed the M25 near Junction 25 in Enfield in both directions as firefighters tackled the blaze in Dancers Hill Road in Potters Bar.
The area surrounding the fire has been evacuated, including a pub and an industrial estate.
Police say they have closed the M25 because the fire is spreading towards a house with gas cannisters stored inside.
There are also road closures at the junction with Wagon Road, Baker Street, Barnet Road and Dancers Hill Road.
There are diversions in operation via the A1, A406 and A10, which are reporting heavier than normal traffic.
