A graphic design graduate from Middlesex University has received acclaim for his unique brand of speakers.
Michael Harper designed Beat City, a 3D model construction kit that can be designed to assemble buildings and whole towns.
The wooden buildings house mini speakers and can be connected to a smartphone or MP3 player to play music.
Mr Harper has also designed a smartphone app with which customers can send in sketches and then have components built to requirements.
Beat City received acclaim at the D&AD New Blood exhibition in July.
Mr Harper is now working for a strategic design consultancy and is looking for further investment to develop the product.
