A man will appear in court later this month charged with the attempted murder of a 32-year-old following a brutal assault.
Anthony Powell, of Tenderten Road, Tottenham, was charged in connection with an attack in Ashwood Road, Potters Bar on January 26, in which the victim was left with knife wounds and a fractured skull.
The 28-year-old was remanded in custody after appearing at West Herts Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, having handed himself in to police the week before.
He is next due to appear for a bail hearing at St Albans Crown Court on February 19.
