A school has announced the death of its headteacher.
Kevin McKellar, who taught at the Golders Rise, Hendon, School, passed away over the bank holiday weekend.
In a statement, the school said: “We are very sad to announce the death of our headteacher, Kevin McKellar. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
“We will provide more information when we are able.”

People have taken to social networking site Twitter to pay their respects.
Saffa wrote: “Mr McKellar, you will be truly missed. Hendon School will never be the same. I remember all the times you used to speak to me. R.I.P.” (sic).
Peyoncé said: “Absolutely gutted. It was an honour knowing you and thank you for everything you did for all of us at Hendon School.”
