A parade and festival to celebrate diversity will take place next weekend.
It will travel through Burnt Oak next Saturday, starting at Edgware Community Hospital at 11am, before heading down the A5 and ending at Silkstream Park where the festival takes place.
Entertainment will include dancers, bouncy castles, and a sports zone provided by Saracens and Barnet Borough Council’s youth and communities team.
It has been organised by Altogether Better Burnt Oak, in partnership with the Burnt Oak Residents Association, Multilingual Wellbeing Services and North Road Community Centre.
Dionne John-Baptiste, a member of the organising committee, said: “It is fantastic that the community has come together to celebrate the rich diversity of Burnt Oak. It has been great to be involved and I hope this is the first of what will become an annual Burnt Oak event.”
