Teachers had custard pies thrown in their faces by pupils as a school raised money for charity.
Colindale Primary School, in Clovelly Avenue, Colindale, managed to raise £632 for Children in Need on Friday.
Children dressed as superheroes, while teachers had their faces painted by some of the pupils.
Year 6 pupils organised and held their own assembly during the day, which taught children about the charity, and how the money would help.
Sally Lajalati, who has been headteacher at the school for nine years, said: “The children really enjoyed it. They thought it was hilarious. It was great, a really nice day. It was lovely the Year 6 pupils had planned the assembly for themselves. I’m very proud of them.”
