A rainbows group will stay safe at night after being given high-visibility vests.
Mill Hill Girl Scouts Rainbows group received the donation from Specsavers, in High Road, North Finchley, as part of Road Safety Week.
Branch manager Francis Keane said: “Since the clocks have changed and as winter is fast approaching, we hope our donation will help keep parents’ minds at ease when they’re escorting their children to and from extra-curricular activities such as rainbows.”
Road Safety Week, which was founded by the charity Brake and sponsored by Specsavers, aims to promote road safety and awareness.
