A tube strike will take place next week.
The RMT union has announced a 24-hour strike on the Northern line on Monday, December 1, after talks with Transport for London broke down at the conciliation service ACAS.
The dispute comes over the sacking of a driver.
RMT general secretary Mick Cash dismissed allegations that the sacking was because of alcohol.
He added: "Our member has a specific medical condition and the union maintains that it was the failure to follow agreed procedures, and to recognise that condition, that has led to this unwarranted dismissal and the subsequent strike action."
